Little Green Frog Camp Information and Registration

Små Grodorna is Swedish for “Little Green Frog” and the name of a song used by Swedes to celebrate summer.  Little Green Frog Day Camp is a partnership between the Gammalgården Museum in Scandia, Minnesota and Growing Green Hearts LLC.    Swedish heritage buildings, tools and artifacts weave through the 11 acre property that also includes a stream fed pond, restored prairie, multiple tree species, and heritage garden.  Campers will be led by highly qualified staff doing hands-on art, STEM, history enrichment, and environmental science.  Project materials, snacks, and administrative fees are included.

Little Green Frog camps are 2-day experiences for 1st through 5th graders that combine science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) with nature, history, and art.  Try one or both:

Food from the farm, stories in the rocks, energy from the sun, and climate
